alokbansal.com Agreement

alokbansal.com is a service operated by Square Education Private Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using or signing up for alokbansal.com, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Agreement”).

By marking the applicable “I have read and agree to the terms of service” checkbox, you hereby agree to the Agreement.

1. alokbansal.com Services

In exchange for your payment of the applicable subscription/package fee, you may request alokbansal.com services, as described on our website at alokbansal.com. We will provide the alokbansal.com services in accordance with this Agreement and the other terms and conditions described on our website at alokbansal.com.

1.1 What Our Services Include

Depending on the package you purchase, our services may include:

• Initial consultation and personalised admission strategy development, including course planning, standardised test timelines, extracurricular and summer engagement suggestions, and community service/leadership planning.
• A personalised college list based on academic fit, financial aid opportunities, and preferences, along with guidance on Early Decision, Early Action, and Regular Decision strategy.
• Essay writing mentorship, including brainstorming, feedback, content structuring, storytelling guidance, and grammar/clarity review.
• Research mentorship support, including arranging research projects under Indian professors (mentorship cost included; publication charges borne separately by the student). Mentorship with international professors can be arranged on request.
• Guidance in compiling a detailed activity list/resume and structuring activities for Common App/UC formats.
• Extracurricular and academic planning suggestions, including coursework rigor recommendations (IB, A-Levels, ISC, CBSE, etc.).
• Step-by-step application guidance, including timelines, documentation advisory, and support navigating university portals.
• Advisory support on choosing recommenders and approaching teachers/counsellors/mentors for letters of recommendation, plus feedback on drafts if shared with us.
• Interview preparation, including mock interview sessions and feedback on communication and presentation.
• Scholarship and financial aid advisory, including identifying merit and need based aid and guidance on completing scholarship related essays and forms.
• Application support is limited to 25 applications per package; additional applications are charged separately.

1.2 What Our Services Do Not Include

We act as strategic consultants and mentors only. We do not act as agents or application processors, and the following are the sole responsibility of the student:

• Writing or submitting essays, we brainstorm, guide, and edit only; all writing must be done by the applicant.
• Entering data into and submitting applications, forms, and documents on any portal (Common App, UC, university specific, etc.).
• Providing accurate data for the activity list/resume.
• Filling out and submitting financial aid forms independently (e.g., CSS Profile, FAFSA).
• Staying committed and proactive in executing the agreed strategy.

The following are explicitly excluded from our packages and must be arranged and paid for by the student directly (we will advise wherever applicable):

• Visa assistance
• Test preparation (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)
• Application and courier fees
• Cost of research publication (India or abroad)
• International professor mentorship fees
• Execution of any application component

2. alokbansal.com Account

To become a customer, you must complete an order form and create an account by providing first name, last name, email address, and any other information indicated as required. We may reject any order form or application for an account for any reason, in our sole discretion. You acknowledge that we will use the email address provided by you as the primary method for communication. You are responsible for keeping your account password secure. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from any failure to maintain the security of the account and password.

3. Fees

You will pay a fee for your package/subscription as specified in your order form. Fees are based on the package/subscription term and not actual usage, and fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstances. All payments must be made in full in advance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, effective immediately upon written or electronic notice. Upon termination of this Agreement, all rights granted to you hereunder will immediately cease, including but not limited to the right to access the Account, unless otherwise determined in our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

You agree not to provide us with any confidential or proprietary information. Each party acknowledges and agrees that the other party may freely use and otherwise commercially exploit any ideas, feedback, or suggestions provided by it to the other party.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability of Warranty

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

NEITHER PARTY WILL HAVE ANY LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES OR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT OR OTHERWISE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSSES OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING IN ANY WAY FROM THE SERVICES. IN ANY EVENT, EACH PARTY’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT FOR ANY REASON WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FEES PAID BY YOU DURING THE SIX-MONTH PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM FOR DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL CAUSES OF ACTION IN THE AGGREGATE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, MISREPRESENTATIONS, AND OTHER TORTS. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF A PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

Maximum liability, if any, arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the services provided shall in no event exceed the total fees actually paid by the student to us. By enrolling in and paying for any package or service, the student expressly accepts and agrees to this limitation of liability.

7. General Provisions

This Agreement sets forth the entire agreement and supersedes any and all prior agreements, written or oral, of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. We reserve the right to update and change the Agreement prospectively by posting updates and changes on our website, alokbansal.com. You are advised to please check the Agreement from time to time for any updates or changes that may impact you. If a significant change is made, we will provide reasonable notice by email and an opportunity to terminate this Agreement if you do not agree with the change.

This Agreement is entered into with Square Education Private Limited, the registered company operating alokbansal.com.

8. Publicity and Use of Results

alokbansal.com reserves the right to publish admission decisions received by the student on its website and social media channels to highlight student success and outcomes. No further permission is required from the student, school, or parent/guardian for such use.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
